Board of Trustees
These are ExJAMs. They know what this foundation is for — because they are part of it.
Kola Rasheed
Founder & Chairman, Board of Trustees · Calgary, Canada
Kola Rasheed founded the ExJAM Humanitarian Foundation in August 2010 — bringing together fellow alumni of the Air Force Military School, Jos, to stand beside one another in moments of real need. Born in Nigeria, he has built his career internationally while staying rooted in the bonds and values of AFMS. He describes himself simply: "Born African, bred internationally, baked in humility, hard work and perseverance." He chairs the Board of Trustees and has led the Foundation since its founding.
Case Zero
ExJAM · 2010
In 2010, a member of the ExJAM community faced a serious medical emergency and could not meet the cost alone. Alumni rallied, raised what was needed, and ensured he received care. The details remain confidential, as they always will. What that moment demonstrated — that collective action could meet individual crisis — was too important to leave to chance. Kola Rasheed formally established the Foundation that same year so that showing up would never again depend on who happened to hear in time.
