These Terms govern your use of the ExJAM Humanitarian Foundation website and member portal. By using our services you agree to these Terms.
1. About ExJAM
ExJAM Humanitarian Foundation is a non-profit organisation registered under Nigerian law as an Incorporated Trustee. We operate this website and member portal to facilitate charitable giving, case sponsorship, and community engagement in support of our humanitarian programmes.
2. Use of this website
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not: misuse or attempt to compromise our systems; submit false or misleading information in any form; impersonate any person or organisation; or use this website to solicit donations for any purpose other than ExJAM's programmes.
3. Donations
- All donations are voluntary and non-refundable except where required by law.
- ExJAM allocates donations to the programmes and cases designated at time of giving.
- If a specific case is fully funded or closed, donations may be redirected to similar cases in the same programme category with donor notification.
4. Case submissions
Cases submitted via the portal are assessed at the sole discretion of ExJAM's Review Committee. Submission does not guarantee funding or acceptance. ExJAM reserves the right to decline any case without explanation. All case data is treated as confidential in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
5. Member accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access. ExJAM reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or our community standards.
6. Intellectual property
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and data — is the property of ExJAM Humanitarian Foundation or its licensors. You may share our published content for non-commercial purposes with attribution. You may not reproduce content for commercial use without written permission.
7. Limitation of liability
ExJAM provides this website on an "as is" basis. We make no warranties regarding uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, ExJAM is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this website or our services.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State.
