1. Acceptance

By accessing the ExJAM Humanitarian Foundation website (exjamfoundation.org) or portal (portal.exjamfoundation.org), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Eligibility

The portal is available to individuals aged 18 and over. By registering, you confirm you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

3. Member conduct

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in any case application
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity
• Attempt to access accounts, systems, or data you are not authorised to access
• Use the portal for any unlawful purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services
• Upload malicious code or content

Violation of these terms may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement authorities.

4. Case applications

Submitting a medical case application does not guarantee approval or funding. ExJAM reviews all applications at its sole discretion. Approved disbursements are subject to a two-person authorisation process and are made directly to the case recipient or their healthcare provider. ExJAM reserves the right to request supporting documentation and to decline any application without providing reasons.

5. Donations

All donations are voluntary and non-refundable except where required by law or at ExJAM's discretion. Donations are used to fund medical cases, operational costs, and the long-term sustainability of the Foundation. ExJAM is not a registered charity in the United Kingdom or United States; donations are not tax-deductible in those jurisdictions unless you consult your local tax adviser.

6. Intellectual property

All content on the Services, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by or licensed to ExJAM and protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

7. Disclaimer

The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. ExJAM does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ExJAM disclaims all liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Services.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria, without prejudice to any mandatory statutory rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.

9. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated to registered members by email.
